Hey I’m Alex, the creative mind behind AEYA.STUDIO.

My wife Juli and I live in Berlin and have a beautiful daughter together.

I’m a filmmaker and commercial director. Funny enough, the first time I really connected with filmmaking wasn’t through a commercial or music video, it was at my sister’s wedding. That day showed me how much power there is in capturing something real, if you know how to look for it.

I went on to spend the next decade in the commercial world, directing campaigns for some of the biggest brands out there. But somewhere along the way, I started missing something more raw, the kind of honesty and emotion you can’t script. And I only ever found that at weddings.

That brought me back, not to pick up where I left off, but to do things differently.

AEYA.STUDIO is how I reimagine wedding filmmaking. Not overly dramatic or out of touch, not slow montages set to piano music, but deeply emotional, bold and engaging. Like a great movie, but one that’s yours. The key is, it has to fit you.

We’re not here to follow templates. Every couple, every story, every moment carries its own rhythm. Our job is to recognize that and shape it into something that will still feel true decades from now.

Cheers,

alex

FAQ

  • It always starts with a conversation. Once you’ve gone through the booklet and something clicks, just reach out. We’ll jump on a call to talk, not just logistics, but connection. You‘ll spend a lot of time with your wedding creative team and we want the chemistry to match.

  • Once you’ve made your decision, we’ll send over a contract to lock everything in. A 50% deposit secures your date and helps break up the payment. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your wedding. It’s all simple, clear, and handled with care.

  • It’s always at least two of us, that’s the baseline. Three is ideal, especially if your day is spread across multiple locations or you want even more coverage. We work with a small circle of trusted cinematographers we’ve known for years. People who see things the way we do.

  • Of course. If you have a big idea, a wild vision, or something small and deeply personal, tell me. I love hearing what matters to you. Whether it’s a multi-day trip or a detail others might miss, this work only gets better when it’s shaped around you.

  • Yes, we do, and we love it. There’s something about real film that simply can’t be replicated. The texture, the softness, the imperfections, it’s straight up timeless. We offer both Super 8 and Super 16, depending on what fits your story best. If film is something you're drawn to, let’s talk about how it can become part of your day.
